Winter activities at Champ du Feu
With its spectacular views of the Vosges mountains, Champ du Feu is a charming destination thanks to its unique natural setting: the forests and mountains, at an altitude of over 1,000 metres, are a popular playground for visitors looking for sports and leisure activities, but also relaxation and contemplation...
Young and old, solo travellers, families, couples or friends, locals or holidaymakers: come and enjoy an unforgettable getaway in the mountains!
Mont Champ du Feu also offers a great atmosphere, with events organised throughout the season and a range of outdoor winter activities for exploring nature, with or without exertion: snowshoeing, Nordic skiing, tubing, tobogganing, ice skating to satisfy young and old alike, and downhill skiing for beginners or experienced skiers.

Downhill skiing
At Mont Champ du Feu, downhill skiing is enjoyed from a very young age, from the first snowfall until the last.
Thirteen slopes spread across two areas are accessible via nine ski lifts and a magic carpet: green, blue and red slopes.
The ESF, based in the resort, offers lessons for all levels, and two sites at the foot of the slopes make it easy to hire your equipment: treat yourself to days of skiing in a safe ski area without moderation!

Cross-country skiing and skating
Champ du Feu is the ideal playground for cross-country skiing enthusiasts: with over 80 kilometres of marked trails and free access, it is one of France's largest areas for this winter sport, which has become a must for winter sports enthusiasts!
There are two rental outlets in Mont Champ du Feu where you can hire equipment, set off on a cross-country ski trip and discover the natural beauty of the snow-covered Vosges mountains.

Snowshoeing and walking in the snow
Follow the marked footpaths and admire the snow-covered landscapes while snowshoeing or walking in snowshoes, surrounded by nature.
Professional guides are available to accompany you on these energetic walks with friends, family or as a couple!
Snowshoes and poles can be hired on site

Tubing
Discover a whole new way to enjoy winter sports with your family thanks to tubing: this fun outdoor activity offers new thrills as you race down the slopes on a large rubber ring, equipped with a helmet.
Two 100-metre slopes are available and easily accessible thanks to the magic carpet lift. Tubing is open every day, weather permitting.

Sledging
Mont Champ du Feu offers two specially designed and secure toboggan runs, allowing you to enjoy the thrills of sledging to the full, especially with younger children!
Open depending on weather conditions, they allow families and friends to enjoy a pleasant moment in the heart of nature, with plenty of places nearby to warm up afterwards and enjoy a range of sweet and savoury treats.
Sleds are available for hire (accommodating one adult and one child maximum).

Outdoor natural ice rink
Every winter, Mont Champ du Feu welcomes an ice rink, offering a new way to enjoy the slopes at Champ du Feu. What could be better than skating at the foot of snow-capped mountains?
The ice rink is open from mid-December to mid-March. A wide range of activities are available throughout the winter season, including après-ski, skating with the Champ du Feu mascot or to music, and pétanque on ice.

Le Champ du Feu on horseback
Just a stone's throw from the Mont Champ du Feu Hotel Restaurant Spa, the Cheval Alsace riding club offers beautiful horse riding excursions and pony rides for younger children.
Horse riding in the snow is also a memorable experience to try during your stay at the resort, unless you'd rather try skijoring, a sport from Scandinavia that involves being pulled along on skis by a horse.
